Submission Guidelines

Unsolicited submissions to Cantrap Press are now open.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Cantrap Press is interested in works of esoteric and metamorphic fiction and non-fiction. For non-fiction this could include, but is not limited to, grimoires from living magical traditions, oracular texts, guides to ancient or modern divinatory practices, religious theses, and personal spiritual experiences. For fiction, we are looking for poetry, novellas and novels that are in some way transmutational.

We have no minimum or maximum word count.

We are particularly interested in hearing from marginalised voices and about marginalised practices.

FORMAT

We do not accept proposals; please have a finished manuscript before contacting us.

For fiction, we do not require a bio. Let your work speak for itself. For non-fiction, while we don’t need a full resume, we do want to hear, in your own words, what qualifies you to write on your chosen topic.
